Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 RTM is Live!

That's right, SP1 for Visual Studio 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5 went live today. You can read about the highlights here, or just go download the service pack and check it out for yourself. WPF designer support in the IDE and WPF performance increases in the framework were big items delivered in this service pack. Also included is the ADO.NET Entity Framework, ADO.NET Data Services, and support for SQL Server 2008. This release comes on the heels of the release of SQL Server 2008 just a few days ago.

Now that ADO.Net Data Services is in RTM, hopefully you guys will do some useful samples with Silverlight and ADO.Net Data Services and telerik components. Thanks! ..Ben

I'll take my request back. Seems like the client library of SL has not been updated and is not compatible with SP1. So, we may have to wait till SL2 is out. ..Ben

Is anyone experiencing any issues with the 2.0 version of the tools and upgrading to service pack 1? I am waiting to hear early returns before I upgrade, but some of the features are a must.

@Bryan: I have not heard of any issues regarding our controls and the release of SP1. I fired up the 2.0 demos after installing SP1 on my machine and everything ran smoothly.
