Q1 is already behind our back and we took the time right after it to sit down and carefully think about our next steps. We were trying to answer questions like where we want to be in Q2, what the main customer scenarios are, how we can help our customers achieve those scenarios, how we can use our resources in the most efficient way, who we’re targeting, etc. As a result we outlined a comprehensive plan including tons of significant improvements and new features as well as major new initiatives that will take Telerik DevCraft to another level in Q2 2013.

Thank you for participating in our annual product survey and telling us in which direction you'd like to see the suite evolve. Here's what you wished for and how it helped us shape our Q2 2013 roadmap.

The second major installment of RadControls for WinForms in 2012 brought to life three new controls to the suite; it boasted a fine-tuned theming mechanism and introduced various accessibility tweaks making it even easier for you to deliver your apps’ experience to visually impaired people. It is now time to look towards the next major release, expected in mid-October.

2012 is already here and it is time to look forward to the first major release for this year – Q1 2012. As always, this release will be full of great new features that will make your applications even more professional. The AJAX and MVC suites received important updates throughout 2011 and, as you probably expect, this trend will continue next year. One tad you need to have in mind is that the DevTools release will be shifted one month ahead, therefore it will be out in mid February, instead of mid March as it used to be.

This means that you will get all that is slated for the next release sooner than you imagined....

In our official major release Q2 2011 we introduced several new controls - RadPropertyGrid, RadListView and RadRichTextBox (Beta) - which nicely complemented the suite and responded to your requests.

We believe that it is not only important to introduce new controls as we did in Q2, but to constantly improve the existing ones. Therefore, Q3 2011 will focus on improvements and new features in our existing code base. I know that some of you, fellow developers, are enjoying the hot summer days and took well-deserved vacations during this period of the year - spending them by the beach with an icy cocktail in hand and getting bronze tan.
