Visual Studio 2008 toolbox problems with Microsoft wireless keyboard and/or mouse

This morning I was really surprised to find this thread in Telerik forums. Here is the most interesting part:

"...found following thread: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2670124&SiteID=1
If you scroll to the bottom of the thread you will read about a bizarre situation in which if you have a Microsoft Wireless keyboard and you unplug it then all your grayed out Telerik controls will start working!
"

Thank you very much Gavin for posting this!!! Absolutely unbelievable...

Yes, truly unbelievable but I think understandable... VS2008 have many tools to develop wireless communication applications. I don't know what's going on, but for me, it seems when the wireless controls are loading to the toolbox, some of them is failing to be loaded, so the whole toolbox is locked. When you unplug the wireless device, the control is continue to load, toolbox unlocked, and all other controls are going to be loaded. Who knows :) I will look forward for an official description of this funny problem ;) Best Regards, Georgi Chokov - http://chokov.com

This is a truly annoying problem. Not only is the toolbox locked and third party controls don't show up -- but on my system, Visual Studio 2008 displays an empty Properties box -- so that the only way to edit properties is in the code view. If I unplug and replug in my Microsoft Wireless keyboard and mouse receiver, the properties window will start working. Timothy

I've also ran into this issue when just using a USB wireless mouse on my laptop. Once I unplugged the wireless mouse, all of my 3rd party toolbox items magically re-appeared! I wasted half a day on this issue. Fun stuff : )

This is pathetic, but indeed, same problem, and all my controls appear unplugging a wireless (logitech) mouse.
