Telerik blogs

Welcome back to another episode of RadTips, a series of screencasts offering tips and tricks for using Telerik's RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. If you've missed previous episodes, be sure to check them out. Each is only a few minutes long and covers a specific feature of the RadControls. Here is a list of the last few episodes...

This Tip

In this episode I'm going to show you how to add your own custom button to the toolbar of the RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX. Once the button is created and added to the toolbar I'll write some client- and server-side code to demonstrate how to give it its own functionality. In this case, I'll take advantage of one of the RadEditor's new features by causing the button to export the RadEditor's contents to a PDF file. I'll also show you how to add your own images to the new button.

As always, code and video are available for download. Enjoy!
