We are happy to announce the availability of the second Q2 service pack of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX and the first service pack of Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC (Commercial version) for Q2 2010. These are expected maintenance releases for both product lines and, naturally, contain bugfixes and minor enhancements. The download packages are available from the Telerik client accounts here and here.

For a complete list of what is included in the service packs please visit the release notes below:

Haihem
I think it will be easier to send an email to the registred customer for that, so they get notified right a way when a new version has been released.
Stefan
Haihem, if you subscribe to the release feeds for each of our product lines, you should start to receive notifications when a new release comes out. You can find the release feed for our ASP.NET AJAX controls in the right bottom section of this page: http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-ajax/whats-new.aspx

Hi Stefan, Thank you for the reply, I have the subscription already to all most all of them, as personal opinion, i dont have the RSS Feed open all day long however Outlook is.

I dont know, but I think notifying customers by email would be easier.
Thank you
Stefan
Thank you for the feedback, Haihem - I will pass it to our management team to be discussed on one of the next meetings. I think that it is probably more convenient (as opposed to sending email notifications) to have our VS Extensions installed and use the Automatic Latest Version Retrieval: http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/vsx_latest_version_retrieval.html. This in comibination with the rss feeds will be a good mechanism to be alerted when an official release (major or minor) is rolled out.

Even though I subscribe to this blog and have the extensions installed for Visual Studio 2010, if given the choice, I would favor email notification as well.

Not to mention, being an Ultimate subscriber, that's quite a few feeds...
Stefan
You can also use the common Telerik releases rss feed available here: http://www.telerik.com/support.aspx?rss. I will talk with the other Telerik Unit Managers about sending email notifications, too.
