Put some magic to your applications by using RadWizard for WinForms

by WinForms Team | Comments 4

As the next release of the Telerik Winforms controls is coming close, we would like to uncover some details regarding a new control to be released – RadWizard. The wizard control will help you to break a complex process into separate steps and provide your users with the opportunity to guide the process and make decisions – just like the well-known installation wizards.

RadWizard supports both Wizard97 and Wizard Aero specifications. The control provides the developers with predesigned Welcome, Completion and Internal pages. Here is an example of the default look of a Welcome page:

The design time capabilities of the RadWizard control are rich and intuitive to use. They allow the developers to create and manage the control and its pages. Handful events help you to follow the state of the control at run time, implement custom pages sequence and page processing validation.

RadWizard, as all of the Telerik WinForms controls, is implemented on Telerik Presentation Framework and benefits from its features – theming mechanism and customization options.

With the approach of Q1 2011 more improvements of RadControls for WinForms will be revealed. Stay tuned!

Looks good but any plans for this on the ASP.Net controls?

Currently we do not have plans to introduce Wizard control for our ASP.NET AJAX suite. However, we will be interested to hear your thoughts on the additional features that will convince you choose our home-grown ASP.NET wizard to replace the default MS ASP.NET Wizard in Visual Studio (apart from slicker designer UI).
