Telerik blogs

Following the first webinar in our Windows Phone Wednesdays webinar series, I’m happy to say that the recording is online and ready to view on-demand!  You can check it out on Telerik TV here:

Also to note for those who are in attendance, I re-recorded the portion where the Windows Phone 7 emulator was having display issues so that you can really take in the whole experience of adding data to your application and enhancing the app by using the RadJumpList control.  Sorry for the trouble, the display issues when presenting a webinar are hit or miss, last series for me was a hit, this one a miss!

You can also download the source code that you saw in the sample applications here:

Windows Phone 7, Azure, and Telerik RadControls Example Code

Just remember, in the Azure project you will need to provide your own connection string to your Azure database, as I can’t foot the bill for everyone who downloads and tests this. :)  Luckily Azure allows you to do testing locally, which is a huge time saver when you want to explore the code more!  You can also check out the free Azure trial being offered by Microsoft so you can see how awesome this whole cloud thing is for yourself!  And this also means you’ll need to update the service reference in the WP7 application as well, since that service will be taken down after I do a few more tests on it.

Be sure to tune in this week and the two following weeks to learn about Push Notifications and Live Tiles, Reactive Extensions (Rx), and Caliburn.Micro with Windows Phone 7, along with your chance to win licenses for the RadControls for Windows Phone 7 suite at every live event as well as your chance to win a Windows Phone, all just for attending these educational webinars that are being hosted by Telerik!
