Before that though I just want to tell you we are proud to see less open bugs in our PITS and logs. Yeah, we are almost running out of issues. No kidding, it’s a fact – we have components which don’t have a single reported issue opened like ListBox, AsyncUpload, TagCloud, XmlHttpPanel, TreeView. I hope you find the issues you reported addressed.

Improvements You Shouldn’t Miss

The first important thing is that we’ve updated the jQuery to version 1.7.2. Most of you know that RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX use jQuery and we have it built-in in our assembly. For the rest – check this topic.

Scheduler for ASP.NET AJAX got completely new design-time wizard. Now you can set everything up using your mouse, without writing any markup by hand. That’s called codeless programming.

Thinking about accessibility, our developers did a great job with Grid’s keyboard navigation. In addition to all the goodies, like expand/collapse, going into edit/insert mode, paging, etc. with your keyboard, now Grid’s selection works like folders and files selection in Windows Explorer.

A few controls added useful client-side properties and methods to their client-side API. Amongst them is the ListBox with the set_cssClass() and get_cssClass() properties.

And last but not least, are the improvements for the TreeList export. Now you have better control on the items and cells decoration for the PDF and Excel files. You can better mimic the Excel exported files to the native Excel files and decorate them completely in a different way compared to the TreeList the users see in their browsers.
