Check out the Q3 2013 Beta release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX

The Q3 2013 Beta release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX is live and I'm pleased to preview some of the hottest stuff in it. As you know our development is customer-driven and the release introduces not only three new highly requested controls:

• Media Player - the control is built on top of HTML5 video and audio element functionality which will allow you to bring rich media capabilities to your web applications and sites:
  
  
• Light Box - this is a lightweight control providing you with an easy way to display images and template content, such as HTML elements, IFrames, Flash, YouTube videos and more in a popup window:
  
• Cloud Upload - The control gives the ability to upload files to the following cloud storage providers– Azure, Amazon S3 and Everlive, Telerik’s backend as a service, which connects your applications to backend cloud storage:
  

but also many valuable and useful features such as:

• Grid: Virtualization of remote data on the client (see demo) and Excel like filtering
• Editor: Consistent across browsers Bold, Italic and Underline commands and redesign of the File Browser dialogs.
• Scheduler: Agenda view (see demo)
• HtmlChart: Sparkline series (demo) and Stock Navigator which allows zooming and scrolling functionality (demo)
• Menu: Light-weight rendering (demo)
• TileList: Server-side Data Binding (demo) and new LiveTile tile type
• ListView: Data grouping and aggregates (demo)

The official Q3 2013 release is coming later in October, but if you are interested in testing the Beta, you can download the trial build from here. For the license owners, the registered beta build is available under the Q2 2013 SP1 (ver 2013.2 717) downloads section under their accounts.
