Kendo UI Q2 2014 Beta Is HERE

Today you will most likely be watching the Google I/O LIVESTREAM and/or testing your resolve to NOT hit the refresh button on one of the hundreds of live blogs. It's an exciting day for developers everywhere - and not just because of I/O - the Kendo UI Q2 Beta 2014 is here.

The timing with I/O is serendipitous since there is a lot to love in all areas on this quarter's beta with major updates to both Kendo UI Core and Kendo UI Professional as well as major changes if you use a certain Google JavaScript framework :). The official release will drop July 16th with a formal keynote on July 30th; stay tuned for more information on that.

I could go through all of the new things here, but lets save the big announcements for the official release. In the meantime, you should do some spelunking through the demos and see what you can turn up. For a hint on where to look, checkout the Q2 roadmap post.

If you are a Kendo UI Customer, the beta bits are available in your account for download.

We also revamped our docs platform recently to bring you the fastest docs experience possible. We know that when you are reading documentation, the last thing you want to do is wait for a page to load. You need to get the information you need and get on with your project. The docs have been optimized and now cater to the fastest experience possible. We think you'll be really happy with the results.

So here is what you need to do now...

• Check out the Beta Demos
• Provide your feedback in our forums
• Get ready for the official release on July 16th
• Keep your eyes open for the keynote schedule (either July 29th or 30th TBD)
• Optional: Write a mobile app that sends a two letter push notification and receive 1.2 million in venture capital.
