Service Pack 1 for Q1 2015 for UI for ASP.NET AJAX is out, and you can give it a spin. A detailed list of all enhancements and fixes is in the release notes.

There are some important additions and hot fixes that I want to share with you:

New:

  • New Focused State to RadButton
  • OnEntriesAdded and OnEntriesRemoved server-side events are added to RadDropDownTree
  • Improved Light-weight render mode of DropDownTree-the clear button icon image is replaced with a font icon
  • Support for multicolumn headers with Frozen Columns in RadGrid

Fixed:

  • When the RenderMode is set to Lightweight globally in the web.config and multiple RadMonthYearPicker are placed on the page, they do not behave correctly
  • The Remove button of AsyncUpload is not working in Lightweight rendering
  • Facebook standard buttons in RadSocialShare do not render when there is more than once instance of the control on the page
  • Setting custom Localization text to any of RadEditor’s Design, HTML or Preview buttons breaks the button behavior in Lightweight render mode
  • RadGrid reordering does not work properly for detail tables
  • RadGrid FrozenColumns--unfreeze option should be removed from the context menu of hierarchy grids
  • RadGrid with enabled grouping is not exported properly
  • RadComboBox in a GridDropDownColumn does not allow the first item to be selected in some scenarios
  • Incorrect (larger) size of a RadWindow with AutoSize=true and an external page with small content dimensions
  • When the RadMediaPlayer is placed inside a RadLightBox template, its playlist buttons do not work
  • Header of the RadScheduler does not load nice-looking sprite image in IE9 and below with Silk skin

You can locate the Q1 2015 SP1 installations here (licensed) or here (trial) as well as upgrade instructions at Upgrade the Version of Your Telerik ASP.NET Controls in 6 Easy Steps. The live demos have been also updated.

Last but not least, if you want to report a problem or raise the priority of an existing one, do not hesitate to do that in the AJAX Feedback portal.
