Try the new Beta now!

We have released a Beta of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Q2 2009! We are excited to offer 4 new controls, improvements to all other controls in the suite as well as a new installer. The new controls have been often requested by the community and they will come handy for a lot of people:
  • RadListBox is a Telerik-quality full-scale listbox control with reordering, transfer, drag-and-drop, multiple selection, etc.
  • RadCaptcha is a UI control that provides protection against automated form submission.
  • RadXmlHttpPanel serves as a container for rapid content loading. You can update diverse content (rich content, user controls or just about anything that could be added on a page) in three different ways AJAX, Client Callback and WebService.
  • RadBinaryImage gives you an easy way of showing an image stored as binary data in a database. The control can be used in any data bound control like Repeater, DataList, GridView, RadGrid, etc.
We have also introduced several other important updates:
All these new controls and features are now wrapped in a new WiX installation package. RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX installation now installs the Visual Studio Extensions as well and allow for easy creation, configuration and upgrade of a Telerik Web (WebSite or Web Application). A new model of toolbox item installation is now introduced. Status messages and progress information as well as install/uninstall time are much improved.

Enjoy the new bits and share your feedback!

Love it!  The CAPTCHA is a great addition to the control set.

I can simulate the functionality of these new controls or there are free ones out there that do the same thing. Why not make something really useful, like this: http://extjs.com/deploy/dev/examples/view/data-view.html ??
