Sneak Peek at RadChart for WP7 Coming the End of May

As you might know from previous posts our Windows Phone team is busy working on a Windows Phone 7 Charting component. After months of research, starting from high-level concepts, chart domain knowledge and architecture, a super fast WP7 Chart control is on its way. And when I say fast, I mean it. Read how the team did it in details in this blog post.

Meanwhile here is a sneak peek at the control.

The Chart will be released at the end May with a Beta tag and will be officially released with Telerik Q2 release, mid-summer. Our product development has always been customers-driven and this important component is no exception. All your feedback is very welcome. In return, we would like to give 20 lucky free licenses for RadControls for Windows Phone.

Everyone who submits feedback on the Beta release until the Q2 release, mid-July, will enter in a drawing for 20 free licenses. The lucky winners will be contacted via e-mail.

The smooth UI is just another example of how telerik has stayed the premier control maker in the .net verse.  I love the look and feel of it and would definitely use it in my apps

I have been working on the UI controls for over a week now and I can tell you that i fell in Love. the controls are smooth, very interactive and fast. you dont see the lag or progress bar or anyting, its very smooth

The preview does look great !
Two wishes :
1) Radar chart
2) The charts respect the "metro" look. However in some cases it could be useful to have gradients and/or the possibility to make color schemes like charts in Office 2007/10.

Anyway waiting the beta release :)
