Hi everyone and thanks for coming back for another episode of XAMLFlix. In case you haven’t heard, XAMLFlix is a video series devoted to getting you up to speed quickly with our Telerik controls for Silverlight and WPF. In this episode, we will take a look at RadNumericUpDown. So, without further delay, let’s get started!
WHAT IS RadNUMERICUPDOWN?
Telerik’s RadNumericUpDown control provides a rich user experience by allowing the developer to define various ValueFormats as well as additionally customize them to meet their customer’s business requirements. Let’s take a look at two videos that will get you up to speed quickly.
- Getting Started with RadNumericUpDown – In this video, we will see how easy it is to get started with RadNumericUpDown. We will begin by adding RadNumericUpDown to our Silverlight 5 project and demonstrate various properties to expose your data in a user friendly way. (Download the project)
- Common Events with RadNumericUpDown – RadNumericUpDown inherits several common events that can be used to improve the functionality of the control. In this video, we will take a brief look at the ValueChanged event and how to implement it into your application. (Download the project)
As you can see it is very easy to get started using RadNumericUpDown. A lot of the functionality that developers built themselves is now included out-of-the box. If you want to explore this control further as well as other in the suite, then I encourage you to go ahead and download your own copy of the Silverlight and WPF control suite right now.
We are always open for feedback on how we can improve, so feel free to leave a comment in the box below or send me a tweet on Twitter @mbcrump. Thanks for reading!
