We are pleased to announce the Q3 2013 release of RadControls for Windows Forms. This release further expands our control offerings by officially announcing the release of RadGanttView as well as introducing the RadRating and RadRangeSelector controls. We’ve also expanded our theme offerings by providing a brand new Office 2013 Light theme for you to enjoy.

OFFICIAL RELEASE OF RADGANTTVIEW

We’d like to thank all that participated during the beta period for RadGanttView. Based on feedback that we received, we’ve implemented seamless integration between RadGanttView and RadScheduler controls. You can now easily share resources and appointments between both of these controls.

NEW RADRATING CONTROL

The ability to rate a product or service is a common feature that you see everywhere, from ecommerce websites to doctor’s offices. With RadRating, we bring this functionality to your Windows Forms application. This control has the ability to display ratings via any number of Visual Elements like Stars, Hearts or Diamonds. Multiple selection modes are available allowing you to accept only full ratings, half ratings or even precision ratings, where you give the users the ability to set a decimal value like 2.4 stars. Give RadRating a minimum and maximum value and plot any range of values in this very flexible control, for example, 0-5 for a five star rating, or 0-100 to represent a percentage value. RadRating is a fully interactive visual control by default, but also provides a convenient read-only mode for the cases when you simply want to visualize a rating.

NEW RADRANGESELECTOR CONTROL

Bring your chart visualizations to the next level! When working with large amounts of data, it is easy for a user to get overwhelmed and lost in a sea of information. RadRangeSelector provides an elegant solution to this problem. RadRangeSelector allows users to focus specifically on a subset of data when they interactively and visually select a range in the chart. This range is then visualized separately on its own allowing users to see and focus on that specific data, free and uncluttered from the rest of the information displayed in the main chart.
