G’day mates,
I would like to share something with you – me and my family recently moved to Sydney, Australia to enjoy the nice weather and the golden beaches down under and for me to become Mr. Telerik Australia. :-)
The press release says: “We see that the Australian and New Zealand are expressing great interest in our latest software developer productivity solutions, data conversion tools, automated Web Testing tools, and CMS offerings and our goal is to answer these markets’ needs by broadening our presence, our community and our technical team in this dynamic region.”
Firstly, this means our commitment to this market, and we will start by growing our office, which is my first priority. Moreover, this means that Telerik will organize and sponsor a lot of events and user groups down under (more information to come). Our team will meet you in person or over the phone. We will give you licenses, T-shirts or just an advice. We will hear your thoughts, your feedback or feature requests.
We will be here and there, but always near you.
Our endeavour down under started with a free 1-day event where Steve Forte, Joel Semeniuk, Chris Eyhorn, Gabe Sumner, Malcolm Sheridan and Jordan Knight made some great talks on Microsoft ALM Tools, Agile Testing, MVC and Content Management Systems topics. Over 150 developers, testers and project managers (some of them flew all the way from Brisbane, QLD) attended the seminars and received a free copy of the Telerik Visual Studio productivity plugin JustCode.
